The Last Few Weeks

Since it's been awhile, I figured I'd put up some pictures from the last few weeks. Forrest and I have been trying to "experience Cleveland" by visiting the Cleveland Metroparks and other areas around the city. The metroparks are similar to the Blue Ridge Parkway but with entrances to the lake, large grassy areas, horse trails, walking trails and golf courses. I recently got my first set of golf clubs so Forrest and I could golf together. Below are some pictures from the last few weeks.

The sign says "Low Flying Aircraft". The Cleveland Hopkins Airport is to the left and the highway in directly under the the path of landing planes. My goal before we leave Cleveland is to get the sign and airplane in a picture together.

We went downtown to see one of our friends perform in an improve show.

Two weeks ago we traveled to Mid Ohio to visit Hunter and watch the race. On the way we passed a hardware store that I thought was perfectly named.

Last night we cooked cornish hens on the grill. Forrest wanted to document my first experience trying a cornish hen. Definitely a hit!

2 Flights, 1200 Miles, & a New Car

This past weekend Forrest and I flew from Cleveland, Ohio to Tampa, Fl to pick up a 2003 Honda Accord that he purchased a few weeks before our wedding. He was unable to get it from Florida before the wedding so we decided to make a weekend trip out of it. We left Friday afternoon and got into Tampa at 10:00pm. The sales man who sold us the car picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel where our new car was waiting! We began our trip to Raleigh on Saturday morning . After spending the night in Raleigh, we left Sunday morning and made it back to Ohio by 5:30pm. Here are a few picture from our trip. We tried to get all of the state lines but didn't quite succeed due to fast moving cars and my slow moving finger on the shutter button!

Watch out world of blogging...here we come!

So, at the request and encouragement of my dear friend Alyse, we have decided to start a blog! Forrest and I just got married 12 days ago and I eagerly followed him to Ohio 2 days later. It has been a busy but amazing week and a half. We have started a life here and we hope to post pictures of our little community as soon as possible.
